What we do
Diamond Hazelton is an e-commerce consulting firm that engages in a limited number of long-term partnership/alliances with e-commerce companies. The purpose of these partnerships is to increase e-commerce revenues at client companies from five to twenty times over a two to three year period. We sell no products and have no conflicts of interest. Our interests are aligned perfectly with the client. Most of our revenue derives from a small percentage of the revenues we create.
How we do it
The short answer is . . . the hard way. There is no silver bullet in e-commerce. To the extent that there is one, it is the cumulative effect of hundreds of small changes made over a period of years. It starts with information, lots of it. How much of your traffic is converting to actual customers? What are your cart abandonment issues? Are they tied to clunky site navigation issues, shipping charge strategies, an unnecessarily difficult checkout process or a little of each.
We look at your margins, product mix, promotions and merchandising. What are your web marketing strategies? How well do you take advantage of the community opportunities the web makes available?
In short, we start by identifying the internal roadblocks that cause your site to feel like trying to run in three feet of water. From there we move to the strategies and tactics that will drive a large volume of new business. We prioritize these tactics in what we call a "baby steps" strategy. What will create the biggest bang for the buck with the lowest capital outlay?
